think it is interesting that he even wrote this, the media must be doing their quarterly flip flop back to 360 from PS3 now. For the next couple months we will see nothing but negative PS3 news LOL, then they will flip back to negative 360 news, it just never ends.
His point however was sound, devs do skip PS3 alot, but it is obvious why, MS treats them better, and makes them more money. This should be common sense by now, not some revelation in gaming news. Stupid media.
But in the end, not enough people have HDTVs to make a big enough difference. Bluray is useless to folks with SDTVs, and those folks far outnumber folks who have HDTVs and want bluray, and the SDTV casual gamer will go for the console with more games, more content, and the lower price, PS3 is not likely to ever catch up, bluray or no bluray. I also do not think Sony can afford to lower the price again for a long long time.
I dont think the PS3 will ever catch the 360, everytime Sony thinks they are back and hot, MS just dumps a bucket of ice water on their heads.
MS will always be able to lower price faster than Sony, And they will always be able to buy more exclusives and content. Call MS all the names you want for that, but in the end it is the 360 owners who win. The good news is, MS will sell a console to PS3 owners to.
IW did everything they could to drop these at the same time. After all they did create COD4 equal on both consoles.
Try to understand the situation they are in, because of the @ss backwards PS3 architecture, and the low budget PSN structure, it takes more man hours to get these things up and running on PS3, like I said before, blame Sony not the developers.
They have nothing against the fanbase, it just takes longer to do things on the PS3, this includes the PSN, you should be happy it is coming at all. Until Sony fixes the issues with the Network and the development tools, this is going to be a way of life for PS3 owners.

The facts stand alone, my feelings about Sony are irrelivant, the PS3 is far better at playing movies, than it is at playing games.
If you want to be on the cutting edge of gaming and you bought a PS3, you got the wrong console and you will need to pick up a 360 as well, its just true, I would still not recommend a PS3 to a true gamer.

If you are too sensitive to read things that make might make you see Sony and the PS3 for what they really are then that is your problem, stay in denial I could care less. The PS3 is still a horrible game console and a great bluray player, your ignore list can't change that.

you know it and I know it, pretty much every multi platform game runs with some kind of glitch on the PS3, be it frame rate issues or graphics issues, its always something. Sony designed the thing to play movies, not games, its just true. Just because it hurts your little feelings to hear it does not make it untrue. I plan to get it on 360 anyways, hell nothing runs right on PS3 its a far better DVD player.

a smart person would wait for the DS3 and for Sony to start delivering on all the hype they have been promising.
You might also want to wait because once the 360 price drops in the USA the PS3 will be decimated in sales, and Sony may be forced to drop the PS3 price again.
